Chemistry Graphs: Ozone Concentration

Use this graph of Altitude vs. Ozone Concentration to answer the following questions.

General Questions

At what altitude is the concentration of ozone greatest?
1.

How many layers of the atmosphere are shown on the graph?
2.

What is the trend in ozone concentration moving upward through the mesosphere?
3.

The ozone concentration at 20 km is 2.8 ppm, while at 40 km, the concentration is 5.8 ppm. Although this data is technically accurate, it might be misleading to make a prediction based on just two data points.  Explain.
4.

What is the trend in ozone concentration moving downward through the troposphere?
5.
