Chemistry Graphs: Acid-Base Titration Curves

Use the given graphs to answer the following questions.

General Questions

In a potentiometric titration, the pH is monitored as acid or base is being added to a system. It is a common misconception that neutralization always occurs at a pH of 7. Depending on the type of acid and base being combined, neutralization can either occur at 7, above 7, or even below 7. If neutralization corresponds to the point on the graph where the pH change is most rapid, is the pH of the neutralized solution for graph (b) at 7, above 7, or below 7?
1.

If neutralization is corresponds to the point on the graph where changes most rapidly, is the pH of the neutralized solution for the graph labeled (c) at 7, above 7, or below 7?
2.

What is the initial pH of the solution being titrated in graph (c)?
3.

Which graph shows the neutralization of a strong acid with a strong base?
4.

In order for an acid-base indicator to signal neutralization, the color change must coincide with the point on the graph where neutralization occurs. Which indicator would not be appropriate for the titration in (b)? Which indicator would work best for this titration?
5.
